Hello, my name is Aleksandar Mishkov, and I am not a certified dog trainer. So, why should you believe anything I say about dog training and dog behavior?
Well, out of 35 years of my life, I have spent more than 20 living with dogs. I have had a dog in my home for more than half of my life. Since I was a little kid, we had a dog. Up to my teenage years, I cannot remember a day without a dog.
I have had small dogs, large dogs, purebreds, mutts, and everything in between. At the moment, I share my life with an energetic male Jack Russell terrier. He has four years, and has been absolute joy to live with.
I also take care of stray dogs, and try to help them as much as possible. I believe anyone that loves dogs, cannot limit that love to purebreds only.
With that in mind, I also have a bit of formal education. In the past few years, I have listened to a couple of courses(you can find some under credentials), and actually implemented some of the new things I have learned to my dog training. Me and Milo (my JRT) have been to a couple of in-person dog academies and day training courses.
So, with that in mind, I want to try and share what I have learned and implemented and help others in need. After all, we all want happy puppies. And without proper training, you are limiting the life standard of your dog.
Hopefully, you can find something new and use it to improve the life of your dog. And with that, you improve your life and walkies. Happy dog = happy owner.
I am also a professional writer. I got my BA in journalisn in 2009 and I have been writting ever since. So, The Daily Tail combines my two passions, writting and dogs
